Potter, Heman Bradley, 1786-1854

Born 8 Jan. 1786 in New Haven, Conn. Graduated from Williams College in 1806; studied law with Elisha Williams in Hudson, N.Y. Moved to Buffalo, N.Y. in 1810. Served as Erie County district attorney, 1819-1829, and as an agent for the Ogden Land Company. At his death, he was the oldest practising attorney in Buffalo. From the description of Heman B.
